The conventional methods of acquiring skills and applying them can be dull and unproductive, resulting in limited returns. The absence of feedback and guidance can be demotivating, making it challenging for individuals to advance and enhance their side hustles. This lack of growth and progress can lead to feelings of stagnation and uncertainty, leaving people unsure of how to advance. As a consequence, many individuals may struggle to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals, hindering their potential success.
Pointless Academy, a mentorship platform, empowers side hustlers with personalized learning paths, interactive content, and expert guidance. During the initial stages of product discovery, I find it essential to thoroughly examine the market, seeking out gaps in existing solutions. A key aspect of this exploration was conducting competitor analysis, which allowed me to grasp the competitive landscape, identify unique selling points, and carve out differentiation from other solutions.
By delving into the common features among competitors, I gained insights into the baseline expectations of our target audience and pinpoint areas for improvement. Simultaneously, identifying the distinctive features of competitors provided valuable insights into what sets them apart and offers opportunities to adapt aspects of their approach to enhance our proposed mentorship platform.

What are we building here, a batch of 50 students? A private class? Or a Gmeet staring at black screen with a pin drop silence. No, its a place to find thier own spot, interact and receive guidance when stuck on a path. Have a personalized schedule and build solutions at thier own pace. Find right person and save time looking out for vague answers.

Our inclusive approach accommodates an age spectrum that starts at “21 years and extends as far as one's personal growth and development takes them”. Along with Mentor Mentee we also have a bunch of catalysts like platform owners, investors, educators, employers and professional bodies that come into picture as and when business demands for it.
USERS
For Pointless Academy, I spearheaded the creation of distinct product versions, ensuring timely releases to keep the team on track. Beginning with the landing page, my designs aimed to introduce and onboard users onto the Slack community, specifically targeting design college students in Gujarat, India. The focus was on enhancing visibility and awareness. The subsequent versions delved into social media platforms, leveraging Instagram and YouTube. My emphasis on podcast content and engaging reels amplified our presence

The primary website functions as the central hub for our platform, offering comprehensive information on its purpose, target audience, available features, and community engagement. Serving as a virtual storefront, it equips potential users with essential details needed to make informed decisions. With a user-friendly design and intuitive navigation, the website serves as a gateway, ensuring visitors easily access key insights, fostering a deeper understanding of our platform's offerings and encouraging a confident and informed user base.

We had a total of 5 users test our mentorship platform's MVP and provide us with feedback. After receiving feedback from users, we entered into the bug testing phase of our mentorship platform, working closely with our developer to identify and fix any issues. We assigned all errors and areas of improvement to a Notion board, making it easier to document and track progress. Through thorough bug testing and continuous improvement, we were able to refine the platform and improve the user experience.

Despite the rising popularity of local football and other team sports, intercollegiate, and school teams, there is no comprehensive platform available for teams to simply arrange matches, manage calendars, and track player statistics.
How can we design an easy-to-use, centralized system that not only handles these operational difficulties but also provides services such as identifying local playgrounds designed for football matches?

In recent years, there's been a noticeable surge in the popularity of local football. Intercollegiate and school teams, in particular, have become a focal point for many communities, bringing together fans, players, and the wider public in celebration of athleticism and team spirit.

However, despite this growing interest and enthusiasm, there remains a significant void. Teams, colleges, coaches, and players grapple with various challenges, from simply arranging matches to managing their schedules and monitoring player performance. The existing tools and platforms either don't exist or are too fragmented, leading to inefficiencies and missed opportunities.
outcome
The outcome from the interview was that stakeholders envision a user-friendly platform simplifying match arrangements, calendar management, and player stats for local football, school, and intercollegiate teams. They emphasised on a need for seamless communication, personalized player insights, and a feature to identify suitable local football grounds. The outcome aims to enhance overall sports engagement and community connection.
Making Football Tournaments Effortlessly Extraordinary!
I started initially by creating a user flow. After Onboarding the addition of tournament will work and further list of matches, teams, statistics built if any and lastly individual performance is how the flow looks like. Once a match starts, the audience can view the live updates on the app along with the scores, a timeline and even the player performance.
